    Can I get freshly fried items at Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten deli stores?
    A.

    Yes, we can prepare freshly fried items if you allow some time.
    The required time varies depending on the quantity and type of items ordered, so please ask the store staff.
    ※We may not be able to accommodate requests during certain times of day.

    At Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten deli stores, the display samples include cabbage and cherry tomatoes. Why are these not included with the purchased items?
    A.

    The fried food and deli samples are for presentation purposes only. Cabbage mix is available for purchase at 120 yen (tax included).

    Can Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten bento and rice bowls be heated directly in a microwave?
    A.

    The packaging materials and lids we use are not microwave-safe. Please transfer the contents to a separate dish before heating in a microwave.

    Are sauces included when I purchase deli items from Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten?
    A.

    Since many customers prefer to use sauce they already have at home, we generally do not provide sauce. *Excludes certain campaigns.
    If you would like sauce, please purchase it separately.

    Are chopsticks included when I purchase deli items from Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten?
    A.

    Chopsticks are not provided when purchasing deli items only. Please ask the store staff if you would like them.

    Why are some prices not shown on the website?
    A.

    The products available vary by store (with some exceptions). Please contact the store you plan to visit directly for details.

    Why are the fried items in Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten bentos not warm?
    A.

    We pack deli items into the bentos.
    If you request in advance, we can prepare freshly fried items for your bento, though it may take some time. Please let the staff know when ordering.
    ※We may not be able to accommodate requests during certain times of day.

    Is the furikake included in Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten bentos available for purchase separately?

    We are sorry, but furikake is not sold separately.

    The chopsticks at Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten restaurants are very easy to use. Are they available for purchase?
    A.

    Yes, they are available for purchase by reservation through our online shop and at certain restaurant locations. Please inquire directly at the store you use.

    Are credit cards, e-money, and QR code payments accepted at all stores?
    A.

    Some stores do not accept these payment methods. Please check directly with the store.

Stamp cards and membership cards

    Please tell me about the "Saboten Official App."
    A.

    The "Saboten Official App" not only allows you to earn and use points conveniently, but also gives you access to special coupons.

    How can I transfer my "Saboten Group Members Card" information to the "Saboten Official App"?
    A.

    Open the app and use your camera to scan the barcode on the back of your card. Once you complete the member registration, the information will be transferred.
    Please note that points cannot be transferred from the app back to a physical card.

  • Q.
    Can I use the "Saboten Official App" or "Saboten Group Members Card" when placing a preorder?
    A.

    Yes, you can both earn and use points for preorder purchases.
    *Points cannot be earned or used for gift items or traditional New Year's dishes (osechi).

  • Q.
    I accidentally made two "Saboten Group Members Cards." Can I combine the points?
    A.

    Each customer is allowed one card only, so combining points is not possible.
    We recommend using all the points on one card, then continuing to use the other card.

  • Q.
    Do points on the "Saboten Official App" and the "Saboten Group Members Card" expire? A. For both, points are valid until the end of the month six months after your last use. If you do not use your points by the expiration date, your points will be expire, and your membership rank will revert to Regular.

    Used on September 1 -> valid until March 31
    Used on September 20 -> valid until March 31
    => Valid until the end of the month six months after the month of use.

    Which stores accept the "Saboten Official App" and "Saboten Group Members Card"?
    A.

    They can be used at Saboten restaurants and deli shops nationwide, as well as at Ebisu Katsu-sai, Tonkatsu Katsu-sho, and Haoju.
    *Please note that some locations may not accept them.

    Saboten service area locations (Ashigara SA Outbound, Nihonzaka PA Outbound, NEOPASA Shizuoka SA Inbound, Dangozaka SA Inbound), Naha Airport Passenger Terminal 4F Store, and Seavans Hamamatsucho Lunch Station Store.
    *The app and card also cannot be used at registers that are not operated by Saboten store (such as shared facility registers or event venues).

    Where can I check the points I've earned with the "Saboten Official App"? (Or, where can I check my points balance?)
    A.

    You can check your points on the membership page of the "Saboten Official App."
    If you're using the "Saboten Group Members Card," scan the QR code on the back to view your balance. The points balance is also printed on receipts.

    Please tell me about the official "Dining App."

    It is a loyalty app that lets you earn points and use coupons at the following brands.

  • Q.
    Please tell me about the stamp card at Saboten group.
    A.

    ・With the release of the "Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten Official App," new stamp cards were discontinued as of August 31, 2025.
    Stamp card use will end on February 28, 2026, so please redeem your stamps by then.
    ・For every 300 yen (tax included) spent, you will receive one stamp.
    (Amounts under 300 yen are not counted.)
    (The amount after discounts is applied.)
    ・22 stamps can be redeemed for a 500 yen discount coupon (tax included).
    ・The 500 yen discount coupon ("the coupon") can be used from your next purchase onward.
    ・Only one coupon may be used per transaction.
    ・The coupon cannot be exchanged for cash.
    ・If used on a purchase under 500 yen (tax included), no change will be given.
    ・The coupon cannot be used in combination with other coupons or discounts.
    ・The coupon is valid at Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten, Ebisu Katsu-sai, and Tonkatsu Katsu-sho stores.
    (Some locations excluded.)
    ・The coupon can only be used at cash registers inside Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten stores.
    (It cannot be used at registers of specialty shops or supermarkets where Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten operates.)
    ・The coupon cannot be used for osechi, gift products, or delivery orders.
